The Minnesota Twins blew a big lead as the Detroit Tigers score three runs in the 8th inning to beat the Twins by the score of 6-5. The Twins comeback came up just short as they were only able to score one run in the 9th inning.
Scott Baker pitched seven innings allowing five runs and three earne runs as he got the no decision. Jesse Crain took the loss as he gave up three earned runs to end the ball game.
Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau both had two RBI’s for the Twins. Morneau’s two RBI’s came on a two -run home run. Craig Monroe also chipped in with one RBI.
