For most of his baseball life, Joe Mauer has been anything but normal. The Twins catcher has been a star since he was a teenager growing up in St. Paul, Minn., and that didn’t stop in his first six seasons in the big leagues. He was a four-time All-Star, three-time batting champion and the AL MVP in 2009.
