Former Pirate Jose Bautista thinks Pittsburgh's unparalleled run of ineptitude should be over by now, telling the Associated Press the team had the pieces in place to field a winner. It was revealed earlier this week that the Pirates have been making considerable profits the last few years despite terrible showings in the standings. The team hasn't had a winning season since 1992, the longest streak without a winning season in North American sports history.
